Clinical Lead (Clinician Engagement and Education)

About The Role

As Clinician Engagement and Education Clinical Lead, your mission is to build a Headway Clinical Education and Certification program at scale that reinforces clinical best practices, is based in evidenced based research, and improves overall compliance and outcomes. You will also work cross functionally to develop and expand an innovative and multidimensional engagement program to scale.

As the only tech-enabled behavioral health Managed Services Organization (MSO) built with entirely in-house software, Headway has an unprecedented opportunity in the clinical space. Today, we support more than 20k Clinicians and hundreds of thousands of patients. Building an educational and engagement program will impact clinicians and patients nationwide.

You’ll be great for this role if:

• You are a clinician – have 3+ years of experience as a psychiatrist , Independently Licensed Therapist, PsyD or a PhD with experience both as a practicing provider as well as operating in a fast-paced, high growth business. Bonus points if you have experience as a Communications Lead
• You are a thought leader –  with demonstrated passion for reimagining how behavioral health quality is defined, measured, and operationalized. This likely means you’ve worked in health plans, health systems, and / or value-based healthcare startups.
• You are a collaborator – eager and adept at working in concert with product, operations, and sales teams to infuse clinical strategy across the org.

You Will:

• Under the supervision of Head of Medical and Clinical Strategy, lead the Headway Clinician Education Program 
• Conduct frequent literature searches to ensure Headway is sharing the most current treatment recommendations and evidence 
• Work Directly with Provider Experience team to build programs and opportunities for increased clinician engagement 
• Creatively build a clinical engagement program that involves virtual and in-person activities
• Build, hire, and train Clinician Champions to support Clinician Engagement
• Work directly with the Product Team to review clinician facing products and resources
• Develop CME/CEU program 
• Develop Headway Certification Program
• Lead/build webinar/interactive learning modules 
• Build onboarding training program
