Clinical Onboarding Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Onboarding, the Specialist will be responsible for administering our internal credentialing and privileging program. The ideal candidate will be experienced and comfortable with initial and ongoing credentialing and privileging process for all licensed providers and other designated employees in accordance with FQHC requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the completion and submission of new provider applications for enrollment in all commercial insurance, Medicaid Managed Care and government plans for multiple locations
- Set up file in the Smyplr system in order for Symplr to start the enrollment process (72 hours)
- Monitors applications and follows-up as needed.
- Build knowledge base for payer requirements and forms and assist with filing, scanning and mailing as needed.
- Establishes providers’ CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare) profiles.Â
- Obtain, update, and maintain the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) / Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) accounts for all APRNs, PAs and physicians
- Assist with initial license for new graduates and relocation to new states

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience in credentialing and/or Physician and provider onboardingÂ
- Demonstrates and maintains knowledge of FQHC regulations and other federal and state laws that govern credentialing
- The qualified candidate will be highly organized, work independently and demonstrate great communication skills
