Clinical Psychologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Central Georgia

A correctional facility is seeking a clinical psychologist for locum tenens coverage due to a new program that is opening up.

The facility is located about 2.5 hours south of Atlanta in middle Georgia. Central Georgia is known as the Heart of Georgia where you can visit the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, and the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park!

The clinician is needed to treat adult males 18+. Some duties include competency restoration therapy along with report writing and some admin work. Credentialing will take roughly 2-4 weeks. An active GA license is needed. They will be using EMR.

• Case load/PPD: 10-15 PPD
• Support staff: Masters level counselors, therapists, psychiatrist, nurses, social worker
• Patient population: Adults
• Location type: On-Site

• Shift hours: Full time (40 hours)
• Cases treated: Full competency restoration
• Med checks/follow-up per day: 20-30 min
• Initial evaluation time: 20-30 min
