Job Title: CLM Product Owner

Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid)

Position Summary

NCR is seeking a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Product & Process Owner. The ideal candidate will possess contract management knowledge and experience allowing them to drive the evolution of the CLM capabilities in response to enterprise needs across product management, sales, sales operations, legal, and channel partner organizations. This role serves as the champion for the use of a consistent, unified process for generating contracts, ensuring visibility to negotiations, achieving approvals, executing agreements, storing contracts, and leveraging contract data.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in product management practices and methodologies, a data-driven mindset, is equally comfortable in both formulating strategy and achieving operational excellence and is passionate about both driving change and getting things done.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead development of the product strategy, create alignment, and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, team members and executive leadership.
  • Lead customer-driven design and usability testing across the portfolio.
  • Work with industry and legal representatives to ensure required templates are digitized and available for use.
  • Maintain workflow capabilities that systematically determine the appropriate agreements based on the product(s) selected on a sales opportunity or quote enabling electronic signature and automatic storage of required contract documents.
  • Provide guidance on the best way to leverage automation capabilities to meet the growing needs of the business.
  • Take ownership for the CLM toolset and work with vendor(s) to ensure appropriate, cost -effective technologies are leveraged to the benefit of the business.
  • Analyze and reports usage data and trends.
  • Collect and organize stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide written summaries, analyses, and action plans which drive improvements in usage, satisfaction, performance, and compliance.
  • Map out and execute on the plan for migrating our current contract repository to DocuSign to enable robust contract search capabilities.
  • Support global stakeholders with plans to digitize and make available contact templates for use outside of North America.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of assigned contract administrators.
  • Work closely with IT, Sales, Sales Operations, and Quoting Tool Architects and Data Governance leads on alignment and sequencing of design and development efforts leading to well supported and scalable business outcomes.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategies that improve the awareness and productivity of each user community.
  • Design methods to test and report on the cleanliness and completeness of data.
  • Lead the development of training assets that improve capabilities aligned with user needs.
  • Establish and manage governance practices that improve data quality and completeness.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 4+ years of contracting process and/or tool experience
  • 5+ years of leading and managing people
  • A proven ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts
  • Well organized, deadline driven, and customer focused, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced PC skills including MS Office and Teams Applications, collaboration applications (SharePoint), and Electronic Resource Management tools (DocuSign)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Experience within FinTech, Banking, Hospitality, or Retail industries
