Close Support Engineer

Job Description:

NT Concepts is seeking a Systems Engineer/Close Support Engineer to support end users and resolving desktop issues as part of a 24/7/365 support team. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supporting the end user and resolving desktop issues as part of a 24/7/365 support team
• Imaging workstations, laptops and deploying end user systems to the local user desktop or shipping systems to offsite locations
• Replacing and installing end user devices such as keyboards, additional monitors, headsets for phones, and other hardware for users when requested
• Basic software troubleshooting
• Monitor, resolving, and document service tickets and requests
• Maintain hardware inventory
• Troubleshooting problems on end user devices such as printers and local network connections
• Uploading files from media to the Organization Shared drive
• Perform site survey of new office locations

Basic Qualifications:

• Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph (Active)
• Experience providing close support and / or systems engineering support
• Experience monitoring, resolving, and documenting service tickets and requests
• MS Office suite proficiency, to include Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Ability to provide clear, accurate, and simple explanations of technical procedures and processes to audiences of varying degrees of technical proficiency
• Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph (Active)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Administrator certifications
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security Plus certification

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times
