Cloud Acquisition Director
Job Description
The Cloud Acquisition Director is a team member on the Global Ecosystem Solutions (GES) group at Pluralsight focusing on our intent to drive new acquisition bookings success with hyperscalers. GES is investing in deliberate steps toward driving Pluralsight to become the world's most trusted technology workforce development partner and operating system through designing partnerships that maximize ecosystem value. These customer acquisition models will focus on providing all our Pluralsight solutions, services and products through a "sell-with" and "sell-thru" structure to carefully selected partners. They must balance practical expediency and efficiency with internal Pluralsight capabilities and embrace how our select partner organizations do business. This is an exciting and entrepreneurial role which heavily prioritizes individual contribution supporting a business plan intent on doubling target group GES revenues year over year.

What you'll do
- Focus on delivering new business in a key priority area: hyperscalers and their gtm ecosystems.
- Source, negotiate and close new deals with a carefully selected set of prospect partners.
- Comprehend the critical need to enable, support, drive and advance partner driven sales efforts through hands on work with your allocated partners moving at differing paces.
- Be responsible for the delivery of a bookings number resulting from both direct "selling with" and "selling through" select partners.
- Determine when individual results achieved for a particular partner indicate greater success is forecastible with additional resourcing enabling a defined GTM unit plan.
- Collaborate with your Global Ecosystem Solutions, Pluralsight, and partner counterparts.
- Show proficiency on the Pluralsight platform and our services methodology and how these components drive partner and customer results.
Experience you'll need
- 10+ years professional experience related to and running business / corporate development, partnerships, alliances, channel, affiliate, etc.
- Consulting, professional services and development delivery experience a plus
- MBA or business degree preferred
- Consistent track record of delivering on revenue goals through partnerships
- Experience in the tech and/or education industry is a plus, especially SaaS
- Up to 60% of travel
