We run Open Telekom Cloud! Open Telekom Cloud is a public cloud standard product based on open source community software and driven by principles of DevSecOps. Lean structures, agile methods, highly motivated teams and an extremely dynamic business environment determine our actions. With this customer-oriented and agile orientation, we are the anchor point for the Public Cloud business in Deutsche Telekom Group.

We are looking for people who are professionals and evangelists with a great deal of enthusiasm for cloud technology and who are up to the challenges created by the development and operation of a hyper-scale public cloud.

We offer a unique insight into how a large public cloud works under the hood, intercultural teamwork, flat hierarchies, and an independent working-style.

As a "Architect Network Public Cloud" you understand the latest developments of networks in cloud and container technology. With customer focus, you enhance and develop the physical and virtual network architecture of our Open Telekom Cloud platform.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Develop the physical and virtual network architecture, taking IT security seriously.
• Be a trusted advisor for OpenStack-based public cloud technology.
• Consistent automation using common automation frameworks.
• Console work with no reservation to get your hands “dirty”.
• Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or natural science subject or comparable professional training.
• Have 5 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• Have an Ability to assess technical solutions and to come up with creative approaches
• Have some knowledge of software defined networks, routing, firewalls and physical networks
• Have deep experience in Linux and network related services
• OpenStack and programming experience in OpenSource projects are a plus
• Have Strong customer focus, are a Team player & have Knowledge of agile development processes
• Are Fluent in written and spoken English

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2200€ /brutto.
