PURPOSE STATEMENT
Rich's is growing our Enterprise Architecture team and we are looking for a collaborative, self-directed, and globally focused individual to join our team to support Rich Product's corporate global growth strategy. In this role you will routinely work with leaders from across the globe and at World Headquarters (WHQ) to create new solutions that meet business needs.
This Cloud Architect reports to the VP, Chief Enterprise Architect and is responsible for the successful expansion, design, delivery, and implementation of Multi Cloud solutions to enable business capabilities and services across the enterprise. The Architect will be accountable for all aspects of computing services across the cloud and edge - including servers, databases, storage, networking, analytics, software, intelligence are delivered over the Internet.
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that maximize the effectiveness of Cloud foot-print. The position requires the ability to work with all levels of the organization to develop an overall architecture strategy and provide technical leadership.
This position requires deep customer-focused thinking the ability to be hands-on and make decisions fast. You will significantly influence our overall strategy for bringing in new technology platforms, tools, and languages/frameworks. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES• Own the design and hands-on development of significant architecture, frameworks, and components of cloud-based Platform as a Service (PaaS) that abstracts the underlying infrastructure for the applications • Develop and drive architectures that will enable applications to have high availability, performance, seamless integration (loosely coupled), high quality, reliability, and user-driven reporting and analytics capabilities• Be a technical consultant for application project teams by partnering closely with the other technology groups to develop the end-to-end solution architecture, including application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains• Collaborates with other enterprise architects to define technology roadmap and ensures alignment to product area roadmap• Conducts innovation and roadmap planning for applications within the business functions of the portfolio• Oversees IT application risk analysis and mitigation planning incorporating Asset Management, Security, and Infrastructure domain input into mitigation plans for Experience team portfolios• Identify and Plan projects for application modernization program to reduce legacy platform dependence and technical debt• Proven ability to quickly comprehend and adopt new technologies by doing technology POCs and Pilots to prove the business value and formalize it as enterprise standards and build reference architectures• Establishes and owns the end-to-end architectural scope (e.g., Health Check, App Modernization, Cloud Native Development) to drive roadmaps, desired technologies, and target state architectures across the portfolio (Reduce technology debt, duplication, and silos)• Communicate key business benefits and implications of technology decisions and outcomes to business portfolio leaders and senior executive management• Works with business and technology delivery leaders to align architecture roadmaps with business strategy and technology delivery plans• Proven abilities to work in multiple Cloud platforms and proven record of handling multi-million project initiatives
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience• Solid architectural experience in building Cloud based Platform as a Service that is Cloud Infrastructure provider agnostic• 5+ years of in-depth experience in setting environment to deploy services on public cloud• 2+ years of experience in using Kubernetes or other deployment orchestrator and management mechanisms.• Build CI/CD processes and pipelines to enable 1-click and self-managed deployments.• Experience with big data systems, analytics, containerized microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven architecture• Experience with design/architecting large-scale distributed systems preferably using Microsoft technologies• Experience with and knowledge of common Architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, Cloud Patterns, Dependency injection, Event sourcing, etc.).• Experience addressing operational and non-functional concerns (e.g. horizontal & vertical scalability, performance, maintainability, load distribution, resilience and recovery, etc.).• Experience with Cloud Native (12-Factor) Architecture and Infrastructure Patterns.• Understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers & Azure HCI) is preferred.• Cloud Architecture, Delivery, and Maintenance• Create positive impacts to the Organization• Communicate and Influence business partners• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$97,840.00 - $146,760.00
