Cloud Automation Engineer

Easy Dynamics is looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevSecOps aligned deployments. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, and improving the overall efficiency and scalability of our deployment processes.
You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be an excellent communicator and possess the ability to work independently with minimal direct guidance. 
Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications across cloud (Azure) environments
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or similar, delivering secure, compliant, reliable and repeatable cloud deployments
• Recommend, implement and manage configuration management solutions to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure
• Monitor and optimize CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure to deliver high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency
• Work closely with project leadership, development, QA, and operations teams to define and implement leading practices for CI/CD and cloud automation
• Integrate security leading practices into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, promoting compliance with federal security standards and security control automation
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployments.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for CI/CD processes, cloud infrastructure, and automation scripts.
• Approach all tasks with a DevSecOps mindset, striving to automate and innovate wherever possible 

Qualifications: 

• 3-5 years of experience as a Cloud Automation Engineer deploying CI/CD and DevSecOps – preferably within the federal government space
• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with security tools and practices in cloud environments, with an emphasis on automation
• Experience with automated testing tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to internal and external stakeholders – ability to adjust messaging to a variety of audiences (end users, client leadership, technical staff, etc)
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. government clearance

Preferred qualifications: 

• Relevant certification such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CompTIA Cloud+ certification
• Experience supporting enterprise ICAM programs, preferably in federal government 
• Experience with the practical implementation of NIST’s Open Security Controls Assessment Language (OSCAL)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000
