Cloud Automation Engineer (Remote)

As a Cloud Automation Engineer (Remote) you will utilize Devops tools, techniques, process, and technical proficiency for the operations of internal and client Azure and/or AWS DevOps environments. You will develop and maintain of Infrastructure as Code templates. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, build new deployment templates, and implement capabilities while also maintaining and troubleshooting issues with existing templates. You will focus on the core platform functionality maintain and develop configuration templates and pipelines needed for operations as well as assist in implementing and troubleshooting issues with client cloud and DevOps environments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

• Maintain standard and customized IaC templates
• Support DevOps operations by integrating developed Infrastructure as Code into CI/CD pipeline builds
• Participate in cross-functional projects, and take ownership of individual feature efforts
• Lead and/or participate on a team designing, developing, and testing Infrastructure as Code solutions for IaaS and PaaS solutions for on-prem or Cloud platforms
• Ensure the successful delivery of services to our clients
• Troubleshoot issues with IaC deployment and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Maintain familiarity with all Insight services to create seamless collaboration for delivery
• Manage workflow through Azure Boards and ServiceNow
• Lead requirement gathering and testing efforts
• Subject Matter Expert for Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline in client environments
• Assist with identifying and evaluating new technologies and methodologies to solve complex problems

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent work IT experience
• Minimum of 4 years of cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS
• Microsoft AA-104 and AZ-400 certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Terraform or alternate IaC tools like Salt, Ansible or Chef
• Minimum of 2 years of experience building and releasing infrastructure-as-code in a controlled environment with an understanding of full lifecycle configuration management
• Experience with GitOps with Git and CI/CD with Azure Devops Pipelines
• Experienced in automating Containerization technologies like Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, ECS
• Architect level certification in Azure (AZ-300) a plus
• Previous Consulting or Client Service Delivery experience a plus
• Ability to support clients 24x7 by participating in an on-call rotation
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Target Salary - $115,000
