What You'll Do

Cloud(AWS or Azure) Solution Architect PGE Region

Responsibilities
• Experience in customer facingroles and success leading deep technical architecture and application designdiscussions with senior customer executives to drive cloud deployment.
• Drive the deployment of customerworkloads into either Azure or AWS and increase their consumption of theplatform by providing deployment guidance, supporting development of thecustomers? cloud adoption model, and providing appropriate recommendations toovercome blockers.
• Establish deep relationships withkey ITDMs, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company.
• Identify, validate and growopportunities to accelerate consumption in high potential customer accounts, inpartnership with the sales team, by driving solution architecture for bothMicrosoft and 3rd party solutions.
• Accelerate consumption in highpotential customer accounts by providing deep technical expertise and supportin one out of the following four areas of specialization:DatacenterTransformation, Custom Applications, Media Services, Security, Compliance andPrivacy.
• Lead deployment of projects, creationof collateral, and training of sellers and partners in your area ofspecialization.
• Keep up to date with market trendsand competitive insights.
• Coach other technical sellers tobecome certified in required Azure technical certifications.

Qualifications
• Deep understanding of cloudcomputing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
• Proven track record of buildingdeep technical relationships with senior executives and growing cloudconsumption share in large or highly strategic accounts.
• Proven track record of drivingdecisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through withexceptional verbal and written communication.
• 5+ years of success inconsultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary,managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus onsolution/projects).
• 5+ years of architecture, design,implementation, or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having anarchitectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.).
• 2+ years of experience inmigrating on premise workloads to the cloud.
• Deep technical experience in oneor more of the following areas:Software design or development, ApplicationDesign, Systems Operations / Management, Database architecture, Virtualization,IP Networking, Storage, IT Security, Linux.
• Working knowledge with AGILEdevelopment, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) with one or moreof the following programming languages:.NET, C++, Java, PHP, Python, node, Rubyon Rails, Pig/Hive, etc
• Oversight experience on majortransformation projects and successful transitions to implementation supportteams.
• Presentation skills with a highdegree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
• Prior work experience in aConsulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company suchas SalesForce, Amazon, VMware, Google, IBM, Avanade, T-Systems, Wipro, CSC, HP,Infosys, ServiceNow, Dell, TCS, Rackspace, Softlayer.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
