We’re looking for a Cloud Azure Storage SME to work 100% remotely for an American Insurance company 

Role: Azure Cloud Engineer 

Must have:

 • Minimum of 10+ years of storage engineer experience, Must Have 2+ years of hands-on experience Azure Files/NetApp files 
• Strong understanding of Azure storage technologies (Azure Files/NetApp files/Blob 
Storage/azure backup) 
• Strong experience migrating File Storage from On-prem to Azure Cloud 
• Strong experience with Azure Infra, Azure Enablement/deployment, Azure 
automation, Azure Migration, ARM template, PowerShell
• Evaluate and implement storage and data infrastructure on Azure, with appropriate 
access control and secure configuration
• Implement strong governance and monitoring for storage environment
• Thorough understanding of NAS over WAN and LAN
• Management, maintenance, and support of data storage solutions, utilizing 
NetApp/EMC Symmetrix/DMX/VMAX and Clariion arrays
• Report on metrics related to Storage and perform capacity planning, as well as 
performance enhancements.
• Evaluation and Deployment: Assessing and deploying various NetApp Storage 
Products (ONTAP filers, FSx ONTAP, CVO, etc.) in both NetApp Datacenters and 
Azure Cloud environments. Implementing various ONTAP technologies like 
SNAPVAULT/SNAPLOCK to meet backup requirements effectively.

Nice to Have

• Deep knowledge of Azure security, Azure Networking, Log Analytics, Azure AD, RBAC 
and Policies.
• Experience with IAC (ARM/PowerShell) required 
• Good knowledge on Azure high availability, DR, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery 
• Strong knowledge on azure resources like virtual machine, VNET, NSG, storage 
accounts, Web Apps, Load Balancers, Traffic Manager
• Hands on experience deploying Azure PaaS services such as Azure App Services, 
CosmosDB, Azure SQL Database, Event Grid, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions is 
required
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Excellent written skills and familiarity with Architecture tools (Visio/PPT etc..)
