Who is your future team?
You’ll be part of a recently assembled team responsible for building an AWS cloud solution from the ground up. This platform will enable many exciting new use cases that our customers are eager to explore and provide feedback on.

Our team is made up of highly skilled engineers with diverse expertise in cloud solutions, backend, frontend, QA, and product domain knowledge. You’ll join an empowered, agile team that values collaboration, mutual support, and collective success – all while having fun together.

What will you do as a Cloud Backend Developer?
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in writing well-designed, efficient, scalable, and testable code. You’ll follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, create documentation, and ensure high-quality output through testing.

You’ll actively share and spread knowledge among your teammates, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

From the start, you’ll contribute to feature investigations and technical pre-studies, helping to evaluate and shape solutions to upcoming challenges. Your input will be valued as we explore new ideas and approaches.

You’ll be fully engaged in the agile process, participating in standups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.

Plus, every other Friday (our “Free Fridays”), you’ll have time to learn something new, work on personal projects, or develop innovative ideas.

Who are we looking for?
You are a backend developer with a track record of building and scaling cloud solutions, particularly in AWS. You have in-depth knowledge of cloud architecture and are passionate about staying at the forefront of industry trends. You embrace teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration, and you thrive in an environment where new ideas are explored, and innovation is encouraged.

A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the work you produce is essential.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with AWS in a similar role, as mentioned above.

Experience with:

• TypeScript.
• Serverless cloud solutions (preferably AWS, including CDK, DynamoDB, and AppSync).
• Cloud testing, deployment, and architecture.
• Building and managing scalable product environments.
• DevOps practices like CI/CD.
