What you will do

As a Cost Analyst for the Site Reliability Engineering team, help the team identify and manage global software and hosted cloud spend, compile and distribute financial reports for Business owners, help visualize the data via reports and educate and advise our customers on application and infrastructure costs.

How you will do it

• Work closely with Engineering teams to optimize, reduce costs and adopt savings plans.
• Discover and promoting compliance and spend management issues in the cloud by working with multiple product teams.
• Be the expert on cost analysis, modelling and recommendations
• Work with individuals across SRE, finance, procurement, and engineering as well as senior leadership in support of our cloud financial objectives
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning of cloud spend
• Build and maintain cloud usage reporting to proactively optimize workloads.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What we look for

Required

• Batchelor's degree in Finance, Engineering or Technology field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in a related discipline such as systems engineering, technical management, financial analysis, etc.
• Highly motivated person with proven analytical skills
• Advanced Analytical skills and proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Adept at prioritizing and managing to deadlines.

Preferred

• Two (2) years of experience in Software Cost Analysis or Two (2) years plus of recent cloud computing experience
• Experience with Cloud cost analysis is preferred.
• Experience building reports using PowerBI is a plus.
• Demonstrated use of APIs
