What you will do

Our Global Predictive Analytics team invites you to apply for a 12-week summer internship located in Milwaukee, WI. You will be working in a team of data scientists and analysts spread across North America and Ireland working globally on a wide range of projects to enable improved business operations, identify opportunities and lead the company to a new best in industry data science capability.

How you will do it:

• Phase 1 - Work with global data science team across multiple domains to ensure identified source data is validated and loaded to SnowFlake cloud instance and build relationship with multiple data sources to ingest the data for predictive modelling.
• Phase 2 - Improve existing Power BI dashboard to pull from Snowflake and enable analysis of those customer predicted to be at risk, their final status along with results of outreach surveys.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing a degree in Information Management, Computer or Data Science or Data Engineering
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications (skills and interest we are looking for):

• Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly, work in a team and act independently when required.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated problem solving skills required
• Power Bi development from data gathering to publishing dashboards.
• Excel and mathematical proficiency.
• Creating, refining and running SQL scripts with views to join multiple data sets.
• Exposure to cloud platforms Synapse and Snowflake
• Creating and running Python scripts.
• Interest in development life cycle and projects working with big data to enable prediction with outcome-based analysis
• Background in data science not essential but good to have
