Cloud Data Engineer - AWS RDS Specialist

From experience, the ideal candidate will have:

• The expertise to engineer, develop, and troubleshoot large production-grade distributed systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS), select the appropriate tools to tackle business problems at the right scale
• Ability to analyze needs and requirements to design and recommend appropriate database solutions by using AWS services
• Experience with at least one of the following: RDS for MySQL / RDS for PostgreSQL / RDS for SQL Server / RDS Aurora
• Experience with the following activities:
  • DB Deployment, Migrations and architecture best practices
  • DB Management and Operations
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Database Security
• Familiarity with RDBMS Optimization
• AWS Certified AWS Certified Database - Specialty (huge plus!)
