We are looking for a strategic Senior Cloud Data Solution Architect to join our fast-growing D&A team. The responsibilities will be split between playing a senior delivery role (architecture, advisory, and strategy), business and practice development, relationship management, and people management. Slalom is looking for someone with proven experience and fluency in Cloud Data Engineering.

What You'll Do

• Serve as senior subject matter expert in the data space for clients to engage with and influence executives through customer-focused solution development and delivery
• Design and deliver innovative solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform using core cloud data warehouse tools and other modern data technologies
• Drive knowledge management with Slalom markets to provide solutions to our local clients
• Drive overall growth of the practice area through a combination of business development, talent management, and delivery oversight
• Guide Slalom initiatives both internally and in the local data community
• Conduct solution discussions, create proposals and statements of work
• Contribute to the growth and development of the D&A capability within Emerge

What You'll Bring

• Deep expertise in one or more modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery) using core cloud data warehouse tools (Matillion, FiveTran, dbt), and other modern data technologies
• Demonstrated experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data lakes, and data strategy
• Experience in the consulting industry, including some technical pre-sales experience, advising customers, coaching/mentoring team members
• Experience with people management and engagement delivery in a business services industry
