Cloud Developer

Big Ass Fans is looking for a Cloud Developer who is knowledgeable in multiple languages and technologies. The primary focus for the Cloud Developer will be to work on multiple projects and applications within AWS. They will also assist with the management of AWS resources and work with additional integration software, Mulesoft. Opportunities may also be available to work on front-end development for web applications.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the IT and Business departments.
• Maintain existing features of API integrations.
• Assist with the management of AWS resources.
• Build new features for full-stack applications.
• Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
• Discern true requirements from a request and implement the best possible solution that takes into account future needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience required in a corporate environment
• 2+ years working with AWS technologies such as Lambda, EC2, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, Elastic Beanstalk
• Proficiency with API development using Python
• Knowledge about browser-based technologies and networking
• Proficient in Python
• Experience in one of the following languages: C#, React, PHP
• Mulesoft knowledge is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated deployment systems
• Self-motivated and directed, with a keen interest in current and emerging technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate technical information to people of different backgrounds
