Your Role and Responsibilities
Cloud Pak team is responsible for enabling and maintaining Data integration AIOPS and automation cloud Pak for the s390x Linux on z offering. The team is also responsible for delivering observability solutions for z Platform. We collaborate with Cloud Pak dev and product management teams for the x86 platform. We also work closely with the product teams Client engineering teams in driving customer POC and use cases.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of relevant Industry experience
• Demonstrated analytical skills and data structures/algorithms fundamentals
• Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrated skills with troubleshooting debugging maintaining and improving existing software
• Linux packages porting Container technologies Kubernetes Dockers Virtualization Management REST API Catalog Services Micro Services
• DevOps CICD Jenkins Travis skills
• Experience with python/java/c programming
• Knowledge of Observability Solutions and tools
• Cloud native development and deployment
• Writing and executing unit functional and integration test cases

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Python Expert
• Terraform Ansible Jenkins skills
• Selenium
• Exposure to source code management tools
• Exposure to porting of packages
• Z Systems experience and exposure to Catalog Services Micro Services
• Prior experience / exposure to Storage Networking and Security would be an added advantage
• Prior experience to machine learning libraries would be an added advantage
