CGI Federal is hiring a Cloud Engineer to join our expanding team and assist with spearheading cloud development & engineering initiatives for our Federal Client. In this role, you'll construct technical solutions and supporting deliverables to enable the client to accomplish its business objectives. You'll research and troubleshoot AWS topics/issues and work within an agile team to enhance and maintain business applications and systems from CGI's Fairfax, VA offices or remotely.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provide IT technical services and technical expertise in systems, technical infrastructure, tools, modeling, external interfaces, and other technical areas. Technologies include Java/JEE, Spring, JUnit, MySQL.• Interface with RESTful web services.• Complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.• Work with different contractors/vendors supporting ongoing effort of various integrations to AWS.• Contribute to the development of documentation.• Work closely with clients and cross-functional departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance and to communicate project statuses and proposals.• Analyze data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems.• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle.• Monitor system performance.• Test new software and fix bugs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Please note that US Citizenship is NOT required, but candidates MUST have lived and worked in the US for the last 24 consecutive months in order to pass the US Government customer's background investigation. • Must be able to pass and obtain a Public Trust clearance.• Bachelor's degree.• 4 or more years of overall experience with cloud technologies. • Demonstrated understanding of the AWS platform and AWS pipeline services to include but is not limited to:• AWS Lambda, AWS Cloudwatch, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy• Cognizant of current AWS technologies to formulate new solution and/or make recommendations.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Creative problem-solving skills.• Experience working with clients and business partners.• Excellent coding skills.• Working knowledge of agile methodologies.• Possess one (1) AWS certification to demonstrate understanding of platform.

Est. Salary/Hourly Range (Colorado Only): $75,00.00 - $99,800.00
