Cloud Engineer

Our Cloud Engineering team owns our research and trading platform deployments on the cloud, our deployment pipelines and our observability ecosystem.  If you are passionate about scalability and automation and strive for better observability and simplicity, then we want to talk to you!

You will utilize the latest technologies and architectures and collaborate with quants, engineers and traders with a proven track record of building high-performance systems and trading successful strategies. In this role, you will:

• Own and operate cloud environments, CI pipelines, and ancillary systems, in partnership with our core engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Actively participate in and help drive our technology and architecture decision making process
• Enhance our cloud observability toolkits
• Help define and maintain our cloud engineering standards through documentation and process design

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience supporting large scale, distributed systems
• Familiarity with python scripting for automation
• Experience with configuring and deploying infrastructure as code, terraform experience preferred but not required
• Experience with enterprise cloud setup including: Orgs, Projects, IAM, Service Accounts
• Experience with cloud networking: VPC, Subnets, Firewall setup, Cloud Router, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large kubernetes environments in GKE or EKS using IAC tools
• Demonstrated experience with k8s auth flows, RBAC, OIDC, roles etc
