Cloud Engineer

About The Opportunity 

Netrix Global is looking for a Cloud Engineer - AWS for the Professional Services – Cloud Engineering department. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for building a solid knowledge base on AWS Cloud Services and the cloud ecosystem, and designing and implementing infrastructure in support of Kubernetes in on-prem and cloud environments. Could Engineer will collaborate with experienced cloud engineers to design and share knowledge of best practices among the AWS community and educate clients of all sizes about the value proposition of Cloud Services. Candidates for this position must be customer-focused, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and be hands-on. This role will report to the Manager, Cloud Engineering.

How You Will Make An Impact 

• Design and implement infrastructure in support of Kubernetes in on-prem and cloud environments 
• Deploy updates and fixes into a Kubernetes environment 
• Provide operational technical support and guidance 
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience 
• Develop software to integrate with internal deployment systems 
• Collaboration with other support, engineering, and development teams to drive sustainable solutions 
• Attend training sessions for clients who are considering or are already using AWS 
• Help with troubleshooting during incidents or problems when required as an SME. 
• Provide advice regarding Well-Architected designs throughout the engagement

What You Will Bring To The Table

• Hands-on experience with any Cloud provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP. It’s also a plus if you have experience in DataCenter (OnPremise). 
• Automation and IaaC knowledge with Terraform or Cloudformation, or with any provisioning manager like Puppet, Ansible, Chef or Salt. 
• Scripting knowledge with Python or Bash. 
• Knowledge and understanding of best practices, tools, products and pipelines. 
  Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes. 
• Communication skills are going to be highly appreciated & fluent English is a must as we are a global company with people all over the world. 

Location 

• Argentina (any part of the country its great for us!) 

Shift 

• 9 a.m to 6 p.m from Monday to Friday
