Cloud Engineer

Under the guidance and general direction of the IT Manager – Systems, the Cloud Engineer   focuses on the development, quality assurance, implementation, and maintenance of solutions components. This role leverages the agile life cycle for solutions deployment and data integration in all projects, as well as objectively assesses quality and logistics production readiness.

Essential Job Duties: 

• Act as a technical subject matter expert on cloud technology
• Build and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Design and implement secure, resilient, and redundant solutions and strategies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Architects, Solution Architects, and the Information Technology and Services (IT&S) department to identify and define business needs that require developed technology solutions
• Oversee ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements of solutions including monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
• Maintain report and visualization design, development, and maintenance

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or relevant field; relevant experience may be substituted
• One (1) or more Microsoft solutions certifications preferred in Microsoft Azure Administrator or Azure Network Architecture
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working within IT infrastructure
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in distributed systems, SaaS, cloud-based solution deployments
• Experience implementing self-service and compliance as code solutions using PowerShell, Azure Automation, Power Automate and other scripting languages
• Proven experience designing and engineering large-scale enterprise infrastructure on Azure
• Experience with ARM templates or bicep or Terraform, Azure Service Bus and App Service Plan
• Familiarity with DevOps pipeline infrastructure and Microsoft Azure design principles and architectural best practices and industry standards
• Familiarity with technical database solutions on global infrastructure and knowledge of other database administration efforts
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Expert in provisioning cloud-based infrastructure
• Two (2) years of experience in the health care or health plan industry preferred
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and deploying DevSecOps pipelines with security and development technology partners
• Excellent analytical skills with the aptitude to troubleshoot intricate issues spanning multiple technologies
• Ability to do technical design and construction of technical data flows
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance best practices and test plan development to independently validate and verify functional and technical requirements.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $122,013.00 $152,516.50 + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
