Escode’s Escrow Verification Services serve as a crucial quality control mechanism, confirming the completeness and usability of deposited code as stipulated in the escrow agreement. This verification process provides investors with the confidence that their investments are backed by high-quality, usable code, thereby minimizing the risk of financial loss due to software dependencies.
Responsibilities:
Design and architecture on in-house solutions for delivery of Escrow as a Service (EaaS) services. This includes:
- Design, develop and assist in the maintenance of account blueprints and policies.
- In line with business requirements, provision cloud accounts specific to our registered cloud partners.
- Ensure all cloud accounts maintained by the Software Resilience division are intact, addressing issues with the security and integrity should they arise whilst maintaining a pro-active approach to mitigation.
- Regularly attend and assist in the planning and implementation sessions for future service, critical to the Software Resilience division and where appropriate, assist the Manager in corporate engagements.
- Ensure policies are adhered to and all cloud accounts remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
- Work in collaboration with Data Protection, Product Strategy and IT teams to ensure all accounts and the contained resources maintains correct data sovereignty and protection laws.
- Review, compare and generate appropriate business cases for the use of additional cloud platforms not currently utilized by the Software Resilience division.
Functional and technical skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and networking.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is strongly desirable.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a plus.
