Your team will be

• Enabling the core platform services for our organization to consume - AWS, Kubernetes, VMWare, DNS, IPAM, load balancing, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc
• Helping the organization transform into a modern product engineering organization
• Driving a customer centric, highly personalized approach to the evolution of our platform
• Continuing our efforts to realize a robust hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Delivering software in an agile environment, continuously

• Experienced working with VMWare vSphere and Enterprise storage in the enterprise

• Experience with Cisco UCS, public cloud, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes is a nice to have

Responsibilities:

• Administer and operate our VMWare vSphere, Cisco UCS, and private cloud environment
• Assist with network design and changes as needed
• Collaborate with application and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality product is developed and deployed in production.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of VMWare vSphere
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration.
• Windows Active Directory and DNS
• Experience managing storage arrays (Islion, ExtremeIO, Pure storage, etc)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; may consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years' experience in software engineering / system administration with a degree; 8 years' experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Cisco UCS
• Enterprise experience with AWS or other public clouds
• Kubernetes, AWS, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco networking, and/or Prisma Cloud
• Experience implementing secure techniques related to Regulatory Compliance (SOC2, HiTrust, HIPAA)
• Experience with intrusion detection systems.
• Extensive experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Working knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, SonarQube, ArgoCD, Artifactory, and / or DataDog

Work Conditions:

• Corporate office/lab environment or work from home (EST)
• Ability to travel, if required (post covid).
