Cloud Manager

Job Brief

We are looking for a manager for the cloud teams. In this role you will lead three teams: a Java team, a Ruby team and DevOps team. The teams are responsible for maintaining and pushing forward our infrastructure to drive our fast-growing install base of IoT devices. You will be using various market leading technologies such as EKS, AWS Cognito, AWS IoT services, time series DBs, SQL and non-SQL DBs, ALB, Cloud Frontend, SNS, GraphQL and more.

Job responsibilities

•    Manage 3 teams, a total of more than 10 developers: team lead, backend, frontend and DeVos.
•    Perform design and code reviews.
•    Developing and maintaining cloud-based services for managing the company’s new IoT devices. 
•    Build new cloud-based infrastructure that will be used to manage the company’s IoT devices.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in managing 2-3 development teams.
• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and solid problem solving & system design skills.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Kafka, No-SQL DBs, IoT, Ruby
• Front-end technologies such as React, GraphQL, Highcharts
