Cloud & Network Administrator

Summary

Clark Capital is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about applying technology to solve business problems to join our team. We are currently seeking a dedicated Administrator with expertise in network configuration, Cloud platform administration, and security who is proficient in tools such as Zscaler, Fortinet, and the administration suites for Microsoft enterprise, cloud, security, and desktop tools.

Technical Skills & Responsibilities

• System Administration: Administer and maintain network servers, cloud resources, and systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network and system-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures, with a focus on Zscaler and other advanced tools, to safeguard against cyber threats and ensure data protection.
• MSP Coordination: Collaborate closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and overall administration. Communicate regularly to address network-related issues and improvements.
• Microsoft Tools: Manage and support Microsoft applications (Exchange, Entra, Azure, Teams and Defender) for efficient communication, collaboration, authentication, and document management within the organization.

• Process & Planning: Experience leading and documenting Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Incident Response best practices and procedures

• Cybersecurity: Develop and execute security protocols and procedures, stay current with industry best practices, and actively monitor for potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Knowledge of telemetry tools and AI applications in the domain.
• Software/Firmware Updates: Ensure that all network and system software is up to date and patched regularly to maintain security and compliance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
• User Support: Provide escalation support to Help Desk and technical support to end-users, assisting with any network or software-related issues.
• Monitoring: Implement network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues and respond to security incidents when necessary.
• Compliance: Ensure that the network infrastructure complies with industry regulations and standards and assist in internal and external audits.

Competencies for Success

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of network and systems administration and support of 100+ user Windows environment(s).
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft environment, including Windows 11, Exchange, Defender, Teams, SharePoint, Sentinel and Windows Server.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Meraki, and Cisco networking equipment.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
• Proficiency with Zscaler and Microsoft Entra, with a deep understanding of their functionalities.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and tools such as Red Canary, Darktrace, Tenable, ThreatLocker and Sentinel.
• Familiarity with Secure Service Edge, Zero Trust Principles and Zscaler modules (ZPA, ZIA and ZDX).
• Certification in network administration or cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or CISSP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V and Docker.
• Willing to work on-site in downtown Philadelphia at least 3 days a week
• Familiarity with financial systems and a regulated industry is advantageous.
