Atlanta, GA | New York, NY | Jersey City, NJ | Philadelphia, PA | Wilton, CT | Charlotte, NC Responsibilities β€’ Lead architect responsible for designing and developing scalable and highly available global private cloud environments incorporating security, performance, scalability and compliance to meet the organizations business needs. β€’ Private cloud network architecture and vision, ensure specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged. β€’ Design and implement Cloud Network as a Service (CNaaS) and alternative technologies and architectures in relation to Consolidated Communications' infrastructure needs. β€’ Drive the adoption of cloud based network segmentation and policy enforcement β€’ Manage complex activities simultaneously to short timescales. β€’ Develop scripts and processes to test, deploy and validate changes across all network infrastructure as code, leveraging Ansible and other approved corporate automation and orchestration platforms. β€’ Develop state of the art technology appropriate to deliver stable and scalable technical solutions. β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget. β€’ Develop and maintain standards and designs for network architecture. β€’ Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required. β€’ Work closely with senior management, and network engineering and operations teams. β€’ Act as an escalation engineer for high severity network related production issues, work with engineers and various vendors to identify tactical and strategic solutions. Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience. β€’ 10+ years of proven experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale multi vendor enterprise networks, project delivery with focus on performance optimization and scalability. β€’ Network and Cloud certifications or equivalent are required. β€’ Network Automation and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Python, etc.) a plus. β€’ Expert level knowledge of IP Networking, Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), SDN (Cisco ACI, Arista Spine, NSX-T etc.), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). β€’ Public Cloud network experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a must. β€’ Architect, design, and implement AWS cloud network solutions to support business requirements, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, transit gateways, and direct connect β€’ Strong understanding of modern network paradigms – SDN, SD-WAN, CNaaS and Cloud native connectivity models. β€’ Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git) β€’ Analyzing, gathering, and auditing large-scale and complex data sets to uncover new trends and patterns that influence architecture direction. β€’ Deep knowledge on network management and monitoring platforms. β€’ Recommend network improvements, including cost/benefit analysis, to meet changing business requirements. β€’ Plan large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. β€’ Sharp troubleshooting faculties, deductive reasoning, and careful attention to detail. β€’ Independent and self-directed work ethic when participating in a collaborative environment. β€’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Dedicated commitment to service availability and quality user experience. β€’ Must be results driven with a strong sense of urgency Job Type: Full-time Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Benefits: β€’ Health insurance β€’ Paid time off Work Location: In person
