Position Overview:

As a full-time Cloud Operations Engineer at Circadence, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our cloud-based SaaS solutions. This position focuses on operational activities and support, ensuring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our applications and services in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure on Azure.

· Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform for efficient resource provisioning and configuration.

· Support operational aspects of data platforms, including but not limited to Redis, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

· Create automation scripts and tools to enhance operational workflows and tasks.

· Work closely with development teams to enhance application performance and reliability.

· Quickly address and resolve operational issues and incidents.

· Conduct routine system maintenance, updates, and performance tuning.

· Ensure strict compliance with security policies and standards.

· Document operational procedures and activities comprehensively.

Qualifications:

· Demonstrated experience with Azure Cloud Services, Kubernetes, and global deployment strategies.

· Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).

· Deep understanding of Azure networking, security, and monitoring tools like DataDog.

· Experience with CI/CD environments, notably Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub.

· Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

· Must be a motivated self-starter willing to take initiative to resolve issues and improve our infrastructure.

Nice to Have:

· Background in site reliability engineering and observability in a complex microservices environment.

· Experience with RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Guacamole, Argo Rollouts, Istio.

· Familiarity with configuration management tools like SaltStack.

· Knowledge of secret/certificate management systems (HashiCorp Vault, Azure Keyvault).

The benefits of working at Circadence

Compensation negotiable, depending on level of experience - $140,000 - $150,000.
