We are looking for a Cloud Operations Security Engineer to join our team!

Preferred location: Remote working in Eastern Time Zone

Do you wish you could make a bigger impact? At Elekta, our security team protects our customer systems across the globe. Ensuring Patients data is secured and safe. Elekta's Axis Cloud, is a fast growing Software as Service cloud platform, constantly evolving and improving.

Reporting to the Cloud Security Ops Manager, you will be responsible for triaging of incoming security issues and the end-to-end management of customer security issues. You will be part of a fast-growing Security team ensuring the continuous improvement of monitoring, security and security operations.

The US base salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000

Responsibilities:

• You will co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders such as Architecture, Engineering, IT, Third Parties and Testing teams to ensure that security is a co-ordinated effort by default.
• You will support audit activities by collecting and providing evidence of adherence to security controls.
• You will work with the team on periodic security reviews, security simulations
• You will address basic and support-based client configuration issues and alerts related to the security of our customer cloud environments.
• You will analyse and respond to security threats from various security platforms and technologies such as MS Azure, Citrix, Kubernetes and Okta.
• You will respond in a timely manner (within documented SLA) to configuration, maintenance, incident management, and other requests.
• You will document actions in ticketing system to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.
• You will Resolve problems independently and understand escalation procedures.
• You will identify process gaps, suggest, and implement improvements.
• You will perform other Security Operational and Administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering or related field of study; at least two years of related experience and/or training (in addition to experience requirements below); or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 2 Years' experience securing cloud systems at scale.
• Experience in participating in Audits and preparing and providing evidence.
• Practical expertise with TCP/IP networking required.
• Experience with Linux, Windows and Network Operating Systems required.
• Strong working knowledge of Routing and Access Control Devices required.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS and GCP cloud systems and security
• Knowledge of Citrix .
• Knowledge of Okta IDaaS or similar cloud identity services.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Containerization Technologies.
• Requires interfacing with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
• Technical knowledge on several security technologies required.
• Solid understanding of information security and networking required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
• A passion for information security and data security required.
• Detail oriented with strong organization skills required.
• Customer service focus required with strong interpersonal skills including excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Will be required to be on-call after hours and weekends on a rotating basis.
• May be required to work occasional off-shift hours to cover customer maintenance and on-site activities.
• Medical device product security experience and regulatory compliance to FDA/MDD/MDR/HIPAA/GDPR a plus.
• Certification in Azure, AWS, GCP or other cloud providers security
• Other Security related security certifications are a plus
