The Opportunity
The Digital Experiences and Insights team within Adobe Technology Services is excited to have the opportunity to hire a senior cloud service developer to advance our efforts in building solutions that will pave the way for our customers' transition to the next generation offering of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). AEM as a Cloud Service represents an incredible leap in both technology and value in that it is always on, always at scale, always current and is always evolving.
Our customers need technical assistance and service mentorship to get them to adopt Adobe's latest AEM cloud offerings. As a valued team member, you will define and build cloud solutions, solve complex problems and make our solutions as bullet-proof and as self-service as possible.

What you'll Do
• Take ownership and drive to completion new solution development, all done in a modern, cloud-first software stack.
• Closely collaborate with team members to tackle sophisticated problems and strive to build self-service software required to move customers to cloud-based enterprise digital content platform.
• Work in an agile development environment driven by customer influences and enterprise vision.
• Partner with our product management leaders to scope out new features and help define our long term corporate vision.
• Team up with our customers in determining how to best evolve our cloud computing solutions to address their business platform struggles.
• As a specialist in AEM Assets as a Cloud Service, act as an evangelist for the internal enterprise efforts focused on migrating internal customers from legacy digital content to the new, reference implementation platforms.
What you need to succeed
• Degree in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience
• Obsession with delivering the outstanding customer experiences through direct customer interactions/services and a keen eye for excellence and simplicity
• A solid understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) tech stack
• Practical experience of building something with AEM and its underlying technologies
• Strong programming skills, particularly with Java and underlying frameworks such as Spring
• Experience implementing Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, etc. in Azure or in AWS
• Experience in test-driven software development where well-defined patterns and structures are used
• Front end development skills an asset: (JS, CSS, HTML, React)
• Comfortable working on problems directly with customers
• Ability to clearly assemble, communicate and document features both internally and externally
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic and Splunk
• Versatile in pursuing new and evolving technological challenges

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,000 -- $232,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
