Cloud PMO Project Manager

IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our cloud modernization efforts supporting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Responsibilities:

• The Project Manager is in charge of effectively planning, directing, and identifying activities surrounding the evolution of the clients multi-level Cloud technology projects.
• Using their knowledge of and experience with various technologies to lead a team to reach all clients goals.
• Responsible for assisting client in development, selection, and implementation for their technology initiatives to improve effectiveness.
• Responsible for completion of product backlog contributing to the overall direction of the Cloud Program.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
• Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case
• Providing management with analyses and reports and responding to questions and requests from management
• Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customer

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience in IT
• 5+ years of proven delivery managing increasingly complex projects
• 5+ years of recent experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management, preferably with mass migrations technology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff
• Experience in Agile practices such as DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD
• Project Management Certification

Preferred:

• Agile Portfolio Management
• Federal experience
• Large-scale cloud migrations
• Hybrid cloud strategies
• AWS/MS Azure Certifications preferred

Clearance requirements:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
