Mindex's Cloud division is a dedicated group of cloud experts with extensive knowledge of workloads on AWS and Azure. We are an AWS Advanced Services Partner, and specialize in cloud-native application development, application modernization, devops enablement, cloud managed services, cloud migration, and big data and analytics.
The Cloud Project Manager oversees all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Will be responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule, stakeholders, and contractual deliverables. Develops detailed project plans and monitors project milestones and will generate and present periodic status reports. Evaluates and manages risk while incorporating quality measures and standards to project deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing an on-going relationship with customer stakeholders as the primary contact to ensure project status and deliverables are communicated and accomplished
- Oversee / manage the operational delivery of Cloud Managed Services customer backlog and recurring activities
- Develop a deep understanding of the body of work and partner with the team and project stakeholders to elaborate clear solution requirements.
- Manage each initiative's scope, timeline, and cost with a focus on delivering excellence to our customers
- Partner with the project stakeholders to translate high-level deliverables into actionable product plans and to work towards long-term product goals in support of product roadmaps and release planning
- Maintain a strong partnership with engineering teams to provide status of project delivery to customer stakeholders
- Demonstrate the ability to use graphical representation to augment textual requirements such as diagrams, models, workflow diagrams, and story maps
- Represent Product Management as the decision maker to assist in answering questions and to provide direction to teams to ensure project deliverables are understood and accepted by the team
- Work with Business Analysists and Engineering Leads to ensure a well-groomed, ready, and prioritized product backlog that aligns with project requirements
- Facilitate internal and external discussion, decision making and conflict resolution while maintaining a trusting, open, and safe environment
Requirements
- B.S in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Three - five years of Project Management experience required
- Experience managing complex, customer-facing, engineering related projects preferred
- Experience working with scaled Agile frameworks
- Experience using the Jira platform preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with client stakeholders and Senior leadership
- Familiarity with enterprise software development
- Demonstrated experience of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency
- Excellent communication, servant leadership, and mentoring skills
