ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Cloud Security Consultant, you'll ensure security and compliance of cloud environments, focusing on AWS and Azure. You'll assess client infrastructure, offer expert security guidance, and prioritize and implement measures to mitigate risks. Tasks include security evaluations, threat modelling, and advising on configuration management. You'll also support clients through AWS walk-in sessions, providing timely security solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments, focusing on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Evaluate client cloud infrastructure and provide expert guidance on security best practices.
• Prioritize and implement security measures to effectively mitigate risks.
• Conduct security evaluations of technical building blocks.
• Perform threat modeling to identify potential security threats.
• Advise on secure configuration management processes.
• Support clients through AWS walk-in sessions, offering timely security advice and solutions.

• Proficiency in Azure Security & Identity, including Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Strong expertise in AWS Security.
• Familiarity with Azure Security Center.
• AWS Security Specialty certification.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Understanding of relevant specifications and frameworks, such as CIS Controls.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Advantageous:

• CompTIA Security+ or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
• Experience in cloud security consulting.
