Role Overview

Join our cybersecurity team and help secure enterprise cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and containerized platforms.

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate security controls for cloud infrastructure, ensuring protection against threats while enabling scalable and secure business operations. You will work closely with cloud, DevOps, and security teams to embed security into cloud architectures and operational processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security controls across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents in cloud environments
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and application teams to integrate security into system design and deployment
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability identification, and remediation planning for cloud workloads
• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with compliance requirements
• Support identity and access management (IAM) implementation and governance
• Evaluate existing cloud security posture and recommend improvements and automation opportunities
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability-building initiatives within the team

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Security / Managed Cloud Security Services / Cloud Engineering with Security focus
• Hands-on experience in at least one major cloud platform:
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience or exposure to:
  • Containers / Kubernetes / Docker
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Cloud security principles and architectures
  • Identity and access management (IAM)
  • Security risk management and incident response
• Ability to:
  • Identify risks and implement practical security solutions
  • Work independently and collaborate across multiple teams

Additional Information:
- Must be amenable with possible shifting schedule at Cubao, with a hybrid work set-up.
