Cloud Solution Architect

This role is focused on designing and delivering next-generation cloud-native automation and container-based solutions on leading public cloud platforms. You will play a key role in shaping architecture strategies that enable scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure using modern DevOps and Kubernetes-based ecosystems. The position requires strong client-facing expertise, as you will engage directly with stakeholders to translate complex infrastructure requirements into actionable cloud solutions. You will act as a technical leader and evangelist, guiding engineering teams and customers on best practices in cloud migration, automation, and DevOps transformation. The role blends deep hands-on technical knowledge with strategic consulting, influencing enterprise architecture decisions across large-scale environments. You will also contribute to thought leadership through workshops, presentations, and solution design discussions. This is a high-impact role in a remote-first environment with strong exposure to global enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of cloud-native, container-based automation solutions while driving best practices in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and enterprise cloud transformation.

• Design and architect container-based automation solutions on public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Define development standards, platform usage guidelines, and automation frameworks across projects.
• Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert on DevOps, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Engage with clients through workshops, presentations, and solution design discussions for cloud migration strategies.
• Translate business and infrastructure requirements into scalable and executable cloud architectures.
• Provide technical leadership across deployment, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
• Promote adoption of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps best practices across teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to enterprise architecture strategy and innovation.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, engineering teams, and operations to ensure solution alignment and delivery success.
• Lead initiatives to evangelize cloud-native platforms, reference architectures, and automation solutions.

Requirements:

Strong experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, and enterprise infrastructure environments, with deep expertise in containerization, automation tools, and public cloud platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments; Master’s preferred.
• Strong experience in client-facing technical roles and delivery management.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, especially Java-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or similar public cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar).
• Strong DevOps knowledge including CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, SVN, and related ecosystems.
• Familiarity with SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS models and cloud migration strategies.
• Knowledge of messaging, streaming, caching systems, and database technologies.
• Experience with Linux/Java-based environments and application performance tuning.
• Exposure to infrastructure security, consulting, or advisory roles is a plus.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, RedHat, etc.) are highly desirable.
