Cloud Solutions Architect

ECS is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to work in our Chantilly, VA office.

Job Description:

• Oversee cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, management, and monitoring. Use DevOps best practices to define deployment architecture.
• Define container-based solution architecture.
• Define the cloud formation template for any given solution.
• Ability to design infrastructure architecture based on multi-tenancy requirements.
• Work closely with application software engineering and technical teams to ensure successful rollout of the solution to the cloud.
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships so that business vision and requirement are addressed correctly.
• Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management.
• Good understanding of cloud security.
• Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, operating systems, and networking.

Required Skills:

• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines.
• 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure setup
• Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions.
• Ability to teach and mentor others.
• Experience with Atlassian suite of tools.
• Experience with Agile, Jira, and SAFe Methodologies.

• CISSP
• CCSP
