Cloud System Administrator

Position Summary
We look for an experienced cloud platform administrator to manage and optimize our cloud resource usage and compliance. In this role, you will manage our corporate accounts on GCP, AWS, and Azure. You will be responsible for the life cycle of cloud user accounts and their related cloud resources.
In this role, you should be able to work independently. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrate the cloud corporate accounts across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Manage the life cycle of internal projects and accounts for 3 clouds : GCP, AWS and Azure
- Create and execute policies to manage company’s cloud resource (compute, storage, network, and security) and enforce compliance
- Work with different department heads on analyzing and reporting the usage of the cloud resources
- Implement the corporate best practices to optimize cost and adopting operational cost control mechanisms
- Review the usage of cloud regularly to find the blind spots and resolve them
- Keeping technical documentation up to date.
- Creating (where appropriate) automation, dashboard, to streamline the provisioning and de-provisioning processes
Requirements
- BS degree and above in computer science
- 3+ year experience with cloud system administration on AWS/Azure/GCP or SysAdmin and customer support experience
- Able to write automation of continuous deployment and monitoring artifacts.
- Experience with automation using Terraform, Ansible and Chef/Puppet is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience with software development, automated testing, or advanced scripting
- Have one or more of the following cloud certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/GCP Associate Cloud Engineer/Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
Location
- Offices: Redwood Shores, CA (onsite at least 1 day per week)
Requires:
- Requires stable job history ie. 3 years continuous full-time employment at recent employer.
- Requires technical BS degree with > 3.5 GPA.
