CLA, one of the nation's largest public accounting and professional services firm is currently seeking a Cloud Systems Analyst to join the growing IT organization team.
The Cloud Systems Analyst provides issue and problem resolution for the Cloud Systems Team. The Analyst consults with others and documents problem analysis, communication, and resolution within the Help Desk tracking system. The Analyst serves as an escalation point for problem resolution within the Cloud Systems ticket queue and provides support to associated IT groups and business associates.
Essential Job Functions
• Cloud Systems Ticket Queue: Receives escalated requests from Level 1 and 2 support team for resolution. Prioritizes work within the Cloud Systems ticket queue and responds in a timely manner. Collaborates with other members of the Cloud Systems team and other IT teams to resolve issues, as needed. Participates in 24/7 on-call support rotation.
• Cloud Systems Administration: Administrates the cloud system through patches, permissions, and service deployments. Monitors and analyzes network performance to match on-demand requests. Maintains the Cloud environment including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting. Establishes connections to and from various cloud network types and managing firewalls. Defines and implements policies for cloud-based systems. Assists in maintaining system security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Cloud Systems Maintenance: Troubleshoots and implements Cloud solutions by drawing on understanding of how key networking components operate/function, including switches, routers, and load-balancers/reverse proxies. Administrates the Cloud System through patches, permissions, and service deployments. Defines and implements policies for cloud-based systems. Helps maintain system security configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Cloud Systems Design: Assists with technical design of Cloud systems and with the implementation of new Cloud systems and solutions. Establishes connections to and from various cloud network types and managing firewalls.
• Microsoft Documentation: Utilizes Microsoft documentation to maintain the firm's cloud environment. Monitors and analyzes network performance to match on-demand requests. Maintains familiarity with existing M365 and Azure services and learns new systems as they become available.
• PowerShell Technology: Maintains proficiency and explores and learns new systems/commands, based on existing knowledge of standards (New/Get/Set/Remove).
• Email administrative work: Utilizes knowledge of email flow and Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) to troubleshoot email flow, including reading email headers.
• Provides support and clear communication to associated IT groups and business associates to ensure effective use of all services.
Requirements
• 2 years' experience in Microsoft Azure Services (Azure CLA, API REST, PaaS/SaaS/IaaS) required
• 1 year experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux Systems Administration preferred
Education
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred In lieu of Bachelor's degree, Associate degree plus 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud based services required
