Cloud Systems Engineer - Assistant Vice President

About the Role 

iCapital is looking to hire a Cloud Systems Engineer to join the Corporate Technology team. This role will manage iCapital’s network and systems as well as maintain Azure and SAAS networking environments. This position is also responsible for handling SAAS System related escalations from the iCapital Service Desk team. The Cloud Systems Engineer will report to the Vice President of Corporate Network and Infrastructure.  

Responsibilities 

• Design and help architect Azure environment and be the global admin for Microsoft Tenant. 
• Manage the Meraki portal with all Switches, WAPs, and MXs. 
• Resource deployment for Windows, Linux servers, storage accounts, key vaults, recovery services vaults, SQL/Postgres databases, VDI, DNS zones, and Splunk. 
• Manage OKTA SSO and Terraform.  
• Implement security center recommendations, administering routing and network security group rules. 
• Email SAAS Solutions (O365/Proofpoint/Intradyne). 
• Manage disaster recovery, backups, and system updates. 
• Manage and upkeep all system documentation for iCapital. 
• Maintain iCapital’s VPNs (Palo Alto, Azure, AWS). 
• Assist the System team with all relevant projects and tasks. 
• Maintain iCapital’s Microsoft licensing. 
• Serve as the escalation point for Service Desk issues (including O365, Azure and Teams). 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree or relative industry degree and/or certification 
• 8+ years of experience managing Cloud and Server Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.) 
• 3+ Years experience as a Global Admin for Microsoft Tenants 
• 3+ Years of Okta experience 
• 1+ years Terraform experience a plus 
• 1+ years Python experience a plus 

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
