The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles and processes, possess excellent written and oral skills, and be able to define requirements for government systems in a remote team environment. Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and reengineering of systems and infrastructure supporting the customers business needs. The development of systems and architectures to support business requirements, continuity of operations and Disaster Recovery requirements. An understanding of cloud adoption processes and network security requirements as it relates to the interfacing of cloud and corporate resources in an enterprise architecture. The monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of systems.

Education and Experience:

• A four-year technical degree -such as Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or Engineering is required.6 years of experience in lieu of BA/BS will be considered.
• 1-3 years' experience as a cloud engineer, cloud architect, cloud administrator (or similar) is required.
• Completed the following certifications: "AZ-900 (Intro to Cloud)", "AZ-104 (SysAdmin)"
• Nice to have completed "AZ-305 (Architecture)"

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Experience with Management and Administration of MS Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Experience with Azure Permissions (RBAC) and AAD
• Experience with Azure troubleshooting, Log Analytics, KQL and Splunk.
• Experience working with Azure Private Endpoints.
• Desktop Publishing: Microsoft Office, Adobe Application Suite, and others.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager Templates and PowerShell.
• Experience of container technologies.
• Knowledge of security controls, system hardening, and STIGs.
• Ability to write and debug scripts.
• Tier III support and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of system virtualization technologies.
• Ability to engineer and design enterprise-wide systems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of complex systems, and service incidents.
• Proven ability to apply Service-Oriented Design concepts to systems engineering tasks.
• Ability to create technical documentation to include SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure), design documents and operation manuals.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to perform virtualization solution analysis for multiple environments, including on-premises and off-site hosting providers.
• Knowledge of general Azure networking.
• Working knowledge of Azure firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of Azure Policy and other governance methodologies.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure NetApp files.
• Knowledge of or direct experience with VMware virtualization technologies and products.
• Experience with Databases technology.
• Knowledge of and experience with Dev/Sec/Ops development methodologies.
• Knowledge of the following "AZ-204 (Infrastructure as Code)"
  "SC-900 (Security, Compliance, Identity Fundamental)".
• Experience with network designs, services, and protocols.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux Operating Systems.
• Deploying enterprise-wide software packages
• Experience working in an ITIL environment. (ITIL v3/e certification highly desired)
• Prior government contracting experience preferred.

This position is offering a pay range of $99000 - $105000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.
