Databricks GTM strategy entails a close collaboration with Cloud (Microsoft, Amazon & Google) partners, to assist our customers in achieving their data & insight objectives. Databricks service is used along with services offered by cloud partners to power end-to-end solutions. In addition Databricks relies on underlying cloud infrastructure and services to power its functionality. As such a close engineering and GTM collaboration with cloud partners is critical to long term value delivery for our customers.
Cloud Technologist will lead the technical business development with all 3 clouds in their respective geographies. In the role, the Cloud Technologist will work with partner and Databricks stakeholders to drive alignment around product integrations, joint GTM sales plays and build learning and development plans to ramp partners on Databricks platforms and its key differentiators. Â
Cloud Technologist will play a critical role in growing our cloud partnerships. To be successful you will need to be collaborative, process oriented, have an understanding of cloud trends and knowledge of the Data & AI ecosystem. You must have played strategy and scale roles in the past and have an ability to work cross functionally to drive key outcomes. Â
Outcomes
- Drive Lakehouse thought leadership with cloud partners
- Build technical executive relationships with key technology leaders at our cloud partners. Â
- Foster connection between Databricks and cloud technical field leadership. Drive programs to ensure consistent field engagements between parties.
- Collaborate with product management and business development on product integrations and technical certifications of the Databricks platform.
- Collaborate with business development to build joint sales plays with cloud partners. Institute programs to launch and govern the adoption of agreed upon sales plays.
- Engage learning and development leaders to build and deliver an enablement plan for cloud partner technical fields. Â
- Be an advocate for cloud partners across key Databricks stakeholders.

- Has prior experience of Cloud platforms and Data & AI services
- Understands Big Data trends and key Databricks differentiators
- Has prior development experience with SQL / Python / other programming languages

- Has worked in strategy / corporate role
- Understands how to scale programs by working cross functionally
- Has experience working with Microsoft, AWS or GCP
