CALIBRE Systems, inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is seeking a Cloud/Container lead to support work in Alexandria, VA.

The Cloud/Container Lead will provide the following support:

  • Apply knowledge cybersecurity knowledge to provide US Government sponsors with advanced capabilities to protect, detect, and respond to cyber-attacks.
  • Specify/pilot/test/implement enterprise cloud security architectures, capabilities and tools for multi-cloud (AWS, MS Azure, Google) and multi-SaaS/platform environments (e.g., MS 365, Google, etc.) for Federal government sponsors.
  • Design solutions that improve end-point visibility for Security Operations Center operators, cybersecurity analysts and threat hunt personnel in multi-agency, multi-cloud environments.
  • Specify and implement cloud-based cyber security techniques and procedures
  • Develop, test and implement cyber analytics capabilities to support multi-cloud cyber operations and threat hunting
  • Develop/test/implement cyber monitoring and detection infrastructures to support advanced security analytics for detection of threat activity in multi-agency/multi-cloud environments.
  • Serve as project leader, task leader or subject matter expert on Department projects with supported government organizations related to cloud security architecture and engineering support.

Required Skills

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Minimum vetting Tier 5(T5)-Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
  • 5+ years of experience with security operations and management in multi-cloud computing and containerized environments, specifically secure operation in Kubernettes.
  • DOD 8570 IAT III Certifications-IA Workforce (IAW) and Computing Environment (CE) certification
  • Capable of conducting digital forensics analysis of various devices and static and dynamic media
  • Must be detail-oriented to document process, findings, and conclusion
  • Must be able to think critically in order to make intelligence analysis judgments
  • Demonstrated skills to perform all required duties
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work responsibly and independently with minimal direct supervision

Required Experience

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree; prefer a discipline in Computer Engineering

Desired Certifications:

  • CISSP or Security +
  • Cloud Certifications
