Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot Condition Monitoring Systems.
- Provide support for the implementation, execution, start-up, field support and troubleshooting of NOV Condition Monitoring systems and tools.
- Develop and de-bug Condition Monitoring System Software and Operator control interfaces prior to project or product release.
- Provide support for commissioning operations as required.
- Develop and de-bug Condition Monitoring System Software and Operator control interfaces prior to project or product release.
- Provide support for commissioning operations as required.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot associated hardware.
- Ability to work with existing software and modify under Engineering constraints.
- Ability to read/understand electrical schematics, wiring and logic diagrams.
- Interface and communicate with customers (both internal and external), vendors, I&C personnel, and project engineers.
- Use Company and Group processes to maintain a structure within projects and as a whole
- Provide assistance in the creation, development and maintenance of Commissioning and Software documentation.
- Provide as required valid, clear, and concise reporting on all verification and testing of software and associated systems during development and in the field.
- PLC Programming Skills with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable. Knowledge of Siemens Programming environment is preferred.
- SCADA HMI Programming Skills to generate HMI screens for complex machinery while providing sufficient feedback for troubleshooting. Knowledge of Wonderware Intouch, Proficy iFix and Siemens FactoryLink is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Associates degree with 5 years' work experience in a similar role.
- 3 years of mechanical, electrical, or field operations experience in control systems.
- Location: 5100 N Sam Houston PKWY Houston 77086.
- Advanced knowledge of computer networking concepts understanding firewalls, routing, etc.
