Summary/Overview:

KBRA (Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC) is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our CMBS Ratings Analytics team in the New York office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform commercial real estate loan pool-level credit analysis as part of CMBS ratings new issue and surveillance processes.
• Quickly get up to speed on intricacies of KBRA’s CMBS methodologies and models and start actively and independently participating in credit modeling of transactions.
• Prepare research and data compilation to facilitate production of presale reports, topical research, and ongoing property cash flow and rating analyses.
• Manage existing financial analytics tools and templates and develop new tools across CMBS and SFR sectors, using Advanced Excel, VBA, and SQL. 
• Author sections of presale and research reports.

Key Skills/Experience:

• One (1) or more years of relevant experience, ideally in structured finance and CMBS.  Completion of a Masters program will be considered for those without industry experience.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel for conducting credit modeling.
• Familiarity with Trepp and its database will be a strong advantage.
• Extremely high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SQL and VBA for querying databases and building and managing data upload/download tools will be an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering related fields.
• Successful progression towards a CFA is preferred.
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills are essential. 

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $90,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
