In Cloud and Network Services, technology leadership drives our business strategy. Our team focuses on delivering cloud-based network services to communication service providers, web-scalers, and enterprise customers. What's our North Star? CNS is looking for a Product Manager to join the Cloud Mobile Gateway product management team. This team is responsible for the CMG and 7750 MG product lines which includes many 4G and 5G packet core functions and services such as SMF/PGW-C, SGW-C, UPF/PGW-U/SGW-U, NRF, NSSF, N3IWF as well as ePDG/TWAG/SGW/PGW/GGSN.

What you will learn and contribute to

Job responsibilities:

Requirements Development

  • Create and maintain deep understanding of 3GPP technologies and specifications.
  • Develop expertise in virtualization and cloud technologies.
  • Create product requirements through analysis of customer use cases and competitive info working closely with regional PLM and solutions teams.
  • Work closely with development, QA and support teams to build and communicate requirements.
  • Spot trends in wider industry and apply them to our products.

Sales Support

  • Provide product and roadmap presentations to customers
  • Develop and deliver training to sales, PLM, and support teams.

    Support sales in responding to RFI and RFPs.
  • Work closely with the technical operations group on the feature and bug triage process
  • Assist in development of proof of concepts, demonstrations, trials with key customers.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience with software products. Must have minimum 5 years of product management experience, or previous experience in user experience design, strategy development, business development, partnership development, and/or solutions marketing.
  • BA/BS degree in engineering or computer science
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills: ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and customers; proficiency in conflict management, negotiation, and presentation/demonstration
  • Ability to influence/lead others; willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to shift from high-level thinking to realistic and pragmatic execution
  • Willingness and ability to work with teams, ability to build relationships using an open and respectful communication and collaboration style

It would be nice if you also had:

  • MBA or advanced degree is an asset but not required.
