CMM Programmer

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated CMM Programmer to join our team. As a CMM Programmer, you will play a crucial role in creating and updating CMM Programs for part-specific receiving inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections. Our ideal candidate is someone who possesses a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

What You'll Do:

• Interpret engineering drawings and/or models to create and program coordinated measuring machine (CMM) for part measurement
• Examine parts and/or drawings to formulate a measurement scheme if no datums are specified
• Ensure materials and product are in within print specification
• Create new part specific CMM programs
• Update/Remediate existing part specific CMM programs
• Create/Update/Remediate part specific Keyence programs
• Measure parts by using appropriate tools (Keyence, Optical Comparator, Micrometers, Calipers, etc.)
• Inspects product to ensure it meets both internal and external specifications as well as all regulatory requirements
• Record test data and create technical reports with defined templates (FAI, Capability Study, Gage R&R, etc.)
• Appropriately identify and segregate nonconforming product and initiate a nonconforming material report per internal NCMR procedures
• Initiate continuous improvement efforts within the metrology lab and create controlled lab procedures where needed
• Provide help to production/quality associates as a technical expert on measurement style and technique
• Confer with Quality Engineers or Management to interpret/determine customer/internal standards and offer suggestions for measurement style

What You'll Need:

• 2+ years' experience with CMM programming, specifically PC-DMIS
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with a strong knowledge of GD&T, and inspection methods
• An understanding of quality standards (ISO-13485) & regulatory requirements (21CFR820)
