Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

CMM Programmer role is core to KLA's technology, while we do not currently have an opening, we are always building ourCMM Programmertalent community, we are interested in learning about your background.

The primary responsibility of this position is to act as the owner, programmer, and chief operator of CMMs used in the development and manufacture of KLA's next generation products.

Main tasks:

• Work with Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to collect requirements, and use them to develop CMM programs
• Perform CMM measurements, and train others to execute those measurements
• Document CMM measurement procedures
• Interface with software development teams to define the format of CMM output
• Manage the usage of the CMMs, including maintaining CMM calendars
• Perform calibration and maintenance tasks to keep CMMs in best operating condition

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Leitz CMMs in an engineering and manufacturing environment
• Experience programming in QUINDOS.
• Familiarity with Polyworks, or other similar CMM operation software
• Experience working in cleanroom environments, in proximity to extremely contamination sensitive components.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Level Degree or higher with work experience of 3 years in a role involving programming and operating CMMs.

Associate's degree with work experience of 5 years in a role involving programming and operating CMMs
