The Opportunity
As we continue to grow we are seeking a CMMS Administrator to work in our Slides Manufacturing facility. The CMMS Administrator is responsible for platform support in general database system management which includes data/equipment or asset setup, changes, and deactivation. It is in-charge of building of asset inventory, work planning, job plans, change requests and overall data engineering within the CMMS software. This resource trains, upskills team members, both new-hire and tenured, on CMMS use, navigation, latest system development, and configuration; maintenance of parts/asset data accuracy and rolling out standard workflows for work requests, preventive maintenance programs, project requests, and inspections, etc.
This position is in Rochester, NY.
The Responsibilities
- Data Management on new and existing data/assets or equipment inclusive of user setup, changes and/or deactivation; maintaining and monitoring of user groups. Implement system updates, set levels of access and develop an information security strategy for the system, serve as the access control official for the CMMS system, set up and assist in designing CMMS reports, coordinate input of personnel information into CMMS system for each site and input and maintain the engineering master data.
- General Database system maintenance e.g., GL Updates; Manage Escalation Module, On-Call Tech updates, Vendor site records and other Business Rules
- Defining/Adding Equipment to PM Plans and Schedules to support overall accuracy within global asset repository.
- Primary responsible in CMMS administration training - should accurately represent excellence during hands on and technical rehearsals. Should provide input on user management rehearsal tests after evaluation for accuracy and sustainability; Guide other team members on projects/accounts to ensure meeting client's expectations.
- Total inventory management, this includes entering or supervising parts tracking by a unique item number, list of primary vendors and with contact information, determine repair / PM costs per assignment, set min / max reorder points, support cycle counting, support work order issues / returns, ordering of all stock / non-stock items required to support Maintenance Operations and determine repair / non-repair items using cost based analysis.
- Manage the work order system. This includes entering or supervising the entry of all work order transactions and providing the required reports to management and maintenance, including assigning work order number, work order description, and establishing work order priority, and defining work order type (PM, CAL, On-Demand, Corrective, safety, etc.) Define failure codes, determine list of material required for services, and Record materials used per asset. Establish available repair / PM schedules. Track asset downtime, Track labor costs. Chart planned vs. unplanned repairs, Chart MTBF & MTTR for Assets. Create and maintain reporting tool for monthly Key Performance Indicators (Scorecard Reporting) and conduct analysis against targets and benchmarks. Support work orders with related documents. Provide support to the operating staff for quarterly updates and changes to preventive maintenance tasks and scheduled events.
- Establish time base / usage based triggers for preventive maintenance and sequence PM's (monthly, quarterly, annually). Provide track of PM next due to area owner.
The Individual
- BS in Engineering preferred, particularly Mech/Elec/Manufacturingโข minimum of 12 months relatable work experience. Engineering or similar.
- A minimum of 5 years relatable work experience in CMMS administration.
- Required Travel: Less than 5%
