CMOS IC Layout Designer

Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience with physical design of RF and Analog circuits in a fast paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with a talented engineering team to produce layouts for analog and mixed signal circuits.  

• Generate custom RF/Analog, Mixed Signal circuit layouts for ASICS 
• Create layouts for mixed-signal and analog circuits such as; DAC, ADC, LDO, CMOS operational Amplifiers etc. 
• Drive design and validation methodology through layout delivery
• Evaluate analog circuit designs and electrical components and provide essential feedback during design reviews 
• Work with team to plan/schedule work and negotiate any necessary layout tradeoffs

• BS degree in STEM related fields 
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or product build environment 
• Proficient using Cadence Virtuoso (XL), Calibre verification tools for LVS/DRC verification, Antenna rule check, PEX (parasitic extractions) 
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Future security clearance may be required)

• Good written and oral communication skills 
• Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization 
• Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment 
• Analog, digital, and mixed signal PCB design including SPICE Simulation/Modeling from Radio to THz 
• Experience with RF design and high-speed direct RF conversion (ADC/DACs) 
• Experience in working on IC Layout using High Voltage Process Technology
